Even with all the heat here in Dallas, there are still some great thrifting finds at yards sales, estate sales and thrift stores. People are actively cleaning out closets, garages and houses. This is great for people like me who like to resell in antique booths. Here are a few finds from this past week…….
This treasure is a vintage Fenton Vase used for floral arrangements. Loved the delicate look of it.
I have a thing for birds! So anything I see with a bird on it, I just have to buy. This is a metal container that could be used as a canister or for some other storage. It was just too cute to walk away from!
Keeping with the bird theme is this set of metal bird boxes. They would look nice on a coffee table or on some book shelves.
Pitchers always catch my eye, as I like to use them for live flowers. This one is especially fun! It’s a Karma Living stainless steel decorative planter.
Another vase that jumped out at me is this beautiful ocean blue vase. It would be perfect for single stem roses, etc.
And last but not least is this cute vintage flower box. It would make a great centerpiece.
Gardening is one of my passions and I wanted to share some photos of my miniature sunflower plants that I grew from seeds. They finally bloomed in all of this heat. The plants are only about eight inches tall and they are just adorable.
Thanks for stopping by. All of the items above will be added to my booths at either the Forestwood Antique Mall in Dallas, TX (booth 119) or the Lone Star Mercantile (booth M11) in Allen, TX. We love your comments and read every one of them! So please feel free to leave one! Stay cool!
We would love to hear from you!
