Been out thrifting this past weekend here in the Dallas area. I started on Thursday and continued all weekend. This is the time of year for great estate sales. I attended 10 of them in 4 days, and they were really good sales too. I found a drop leaf table, a white side table, some awesome wall decor and beautiful accent pieces. Here’s a photo of my favorite find……..this daffodil floral painting on a piece of vintage aged wood.
The memo board to the right in this photo was another treasure I discovered!
And just love this canvas painting below! I picked this up at my first estate sale on Thursday. It was so pretty that it sold in my booth at the Lonestar Mercantile in Allen, TX on Friday, right after I brought it in.
These gorgeous Capiz shell wooden accent bowls caught my eye at the sale on Friday in our neighborhood. I knew these would be one of the most unique eclectic finds for my booth.
So in between attending estate sales and working on my booths, I keep busy with doing book reviews for a few NY Times bestselling authors. My latest book review will be on Susan Mallory’s next release, The Sister Effect. Check back for my review of it in early March. Susan’s books are the best!
Happy thrifting and reading. Feel free to leave a comment on your thrifting finds and favorite authors.
