Happy New Year to all! I can tell this is going to be a great year!
My son and I took a trip to Florida to visit my sister and her husband this month. We had not seen them since before Covid. So it was such a nice visit. They were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed sightseeing with them. It was especially enjoyable to see the sunset on the beach in Apollo Beach while we were in town.
After our trip, I was off and running to our local thrift stores to find those January treasures. Here’s a few items that I found along the way………
Love these vintage tin dollhouses. I haven’t seen one of these metal dollhouses in years. Actually I had a pink one when I was growing up that I remember playing with it for hours on end. So I just could not walk away from these two beauties when I spotted them at a local consignment store. They are now in my booth at the Cottonwood Market.
Then I came across this beautiful floral box at a Goodwill. The inside says it came from Nordstroms. So I’m thinking it might have been a promotional item they were offering at the time. This little cutie might have to stay with me because it is too pretty to part with! It would be a perfect storage box for cards or those special keepsakes.
Stay tuned to see photos of our new booth at the Lone Star Mercantile in Allen, TX. We move into it in the beginning of February, so I’ll be sharing photos of the new space and products. I look forward to being a dealer at their mall!
We love your comments, so please feel free to leave one when you stop by and share what treasures you found this week!
We would love to hear from you!
