Remember the days when Mom got all dressed up and then she would stand at the dresser and splash on some perfume before going out for dinner or church?
Those vintage perfumes and colognes bring back some beautiful memories of Mom, especially at this time of the year.
While I was out exploring some estate sales this past month I scored some awesome fragrances from the 1940s and 1960s. Here are some photos of what I found…….
Did your Mom wear any of these fragrances? My favorite is the Madame Rochas, which was introduced in 1960 and exudes the lovely scent of hyacinth and Lilly of the Valley. Ecusson is a close second and is a classic vintage fragrance first introduced in 1948. I love the lemon and iris overtones in the fragrance. Scoundrel, Este Lauder Youth Dew and Charlie are all from the 1960s-1980s.
If you’d like a closer look at the vintage perfume collection, I’ll be placing them in our new glass case rental at the Cottonwood Market in Richardson, TX.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
