As we enter the month of September, I am excited that we are headed towards the Fall months. We’re new to the Dallas area, so we’ll be experiencing our first autumn out West. I am told it will be much warmer than Atlanta, so that will be a nice treat. We’ll even get another crop of tomatoes in the Fall months, which is great. I see some fresh salsa in my future!
I’m really enjoying our garden and patio in our new house. I just love windchimes. And custom ones are my very favorite! The flea mall that I have a booth at, has a dealer that does all kinds of unique yard art and windchimes. She was having a 40% off end of Summer sale, so I went ahead and treated myself to a teapot windchime in her booth that I had been eyeing for some time.
Each part of it is so stunning and quaint…..
Here is my back courtyard walkway. I have it lined with all kinds of flea market finds that I have picked up on my adventures.
And another one of my loves is a flower can make me smile, as daisies surely can. Early this Summer I picked up three 18 inch sunflower plants and placed them in my veggie garden, just to make it look cute and cheery. Well, they have really taken off and I now cut them and put daisy arrangements in my kitchen. They just make me very happy!
They are just fun!
Here’s a photo of the vegetable garden this week. As you can see the daisies have grown to be quite large.
That’s all for my weekly rambling. What is new with you? Leave a comment, as we read them all and will even answer you!
